A  pressure vessel  refers to a closed device that carries a certain pressure. It can contain either gas or liquid.

The "Special Equipment Safety Supervision Regulations" stipulates the following regulations on  pressure vessels:

The container containing gas (including liquefied gas) should meet the following requirements: The maximum working pressure (gauge pressure): ≥0.1 MPa;

The product of pressure and volume: ≥2.5 MPa.L

Containers containing liquids should meet the following requirements:

The maximum working temperature: ≥ its standard boiling point.

For gas cylinders and oxygen chambers, Containing gas (including liquefied gas) should meet the following requirements:

The maximum working pressure (gauge pressure):≥0.2 MPa;

The product of pressure and volume:≥1.0 MPa;

The standard boiling point liquids:≤ 60°C

Which are pressure vessels:

According to application,  pressure vessels  are classified as follows:

Storage tank: used to store media with pressure requirements, such as compressed air, industrial gas, liquid, etc.

Separator: used to classify two-phase mixed substances, such as gas-water separator, to classify the water in the air.

wps3

Reactor: used to contain and promote physical or chemical reactions of various substances, such as agitators, chemical reaction kettles, etc.

Heat exchange container: Two media of different temperatures exchange heat to achieve cooling or heating purposes
