Filter element

There are several aspects to consider when it comes to selecting the right filter element. From preventing contamination to sizing, there are various options available for your specific application.

Cleaning with compressed air

An air compressor's filter element is not intended to live forever. A blocked filter might eventually cause a pressure decrease that ruins equipment. A filter element that is clean can minimize running expenses. Typically, filter components are produced from 304 stainless steel, which is resistant to corrosion in moist settings. Additionally, they include plastic beads to keep pleats open. In addition to the housing and filter element, a manifold for compressed air and accumulator are often added.

At least one pulse nozzle delivers a series of pulses of compressed air at predefined intervals throughout a cleaning cycle. Each pulse covers the vast majority of the inner surface of the filter element's cylinder. This procedure gives higher cleaning coverage and extends the memberane filter element's lifespan. A standard air filter has three stages: the first stage gathers water droplets, the second stage captures oil and big particles, and the third stage prevents the growth of germs. The user should flush the filter element from the clean side to the dirty side to eliminate dirt.
